I didn’t choose the shitshow life... the shitshow life chose me. Somewhere between babysitting drunk coworkers, managing disasters with nothing but duct tape and sarcasm, and being voted “most likely to fix the unfixable while holding a beer,” I got promoted to Supervisor of the Circus Nobody Admitted They Signed Up For.

That role comes with perks, though. You don’t get through years of chaos without developing an off-kilter sense of humor. The kind that leans sideways, like it’s been through a few car crashes but still insists on showing up in sunglasses. I laugh at things other people clutch their pearls over, mostly because I’ve seen worse… and sometimes was worse.

I rarely say no. Not because I’m incapable, but because “yes” is where the fun is. Saying no leads to boring nights and clean carpets. Saying yes leads to epic stories, new scars, inside jokes that never die, and the occasional “how the hell did I end up here?” moment. And honestly, I live for that.

Let’s be clear though... I’m not reckless. I’m calculated reckless. I know exactly how far I can push the chaos before it turns into a crime scene or a headline. (Okay, usually know. Nobody’s perfect.) But when the dust settles, I’m the one still standing, handing out water bottles and retelling the story like it’s a Netflix special.

I like to party, yes... but not in the “college frat, break the furniture” way. More in the “life’s short, the playlist is loaded, and everyone deserves a night where their cheeks hurt from laughing” way. That’s my happy place: in the middle of the madness, cracking jokes, making memories, and turning messes into legendary nights.
