Ik ben altijd graag creatief bezig, maar door fysieke omstandigheden heb ik van veel hobby's afscheid moeten nemen.
Dat heeft me doen besluiten om een 3D printer te kopen, en dat was een gouden zet.
Het kost weinig fysieke inspanning, het doet een beroep op mijn creativiteit en is een mooie afleiding.

Ik vind het ook heel leuk om miniatuur huisjes te maken, het liefst iets wat helemaal zelf ontworpen is, in plaats van zo'n bouwpakketje uit een winkel.
De 3D printer is daarbij ook een geweldig hulpmiddel. Wat ik voorheen met een Brother ScanNCut 1200 maakte (van papier) kan ik nu met de printer maken.
Voor de huisjes zelf maak ik gebruik van een SculpFun S9 lasersnijder.
En dan kan ik nog een andere hobby combineren, namelijk schilderen.

Heel kort had ik een Creality K2 Plus, maar als er problemen waren dan moest de printer op zijn kant gelegd worden om dat op te lossen. Het apparaat was nogal zwaar en die fysieke kracht heb ik niet meer.

Misschien dat de opvolger Creality K2 Pro, die een stuk lichter is, nog uitkomst kan bieden, want het is wel heel leuk wanneer er gelijk al kleurtjes in zitten wanneer het geprint wordt.

Tot die tijd ben ik héél tevreden met mijn Creality K1 Max.

I've always loved being creative, but due to physical circumstances, I've had to give up many hobbies.
That made me decide to buy a 3D printer, and it was a brilliant move.
It requires little physical effort, it appeals to my creativity, and it's a nice distraction.

I also really enjoy making miniature houses, preferably something I designed myself, rather than one of those kits from a store.
The 3D printer is a great tool for this. What I used to make with a Brother ScanNCut 1200 (out of paper) I can now make with the printer.
For the houses themselves, I use a SculpFun S9 laser cutter.
And then I can combine another hobby: painting.

I briefly owned a Creality K2 Plus, but if there were any problems, the printer had to be turned on its side to fix them. The machine was quite heavy, and I no longer have the physical strength.

Perhaps the successor, the Creality K2 Pro, which is much lighter, could offer a solution, because it's really nice when the colors are already there when it's printed.

Until then, I'm very happy with my Creality K1 Max.
