This drain excess resin but it prevent exploding. I once had my Goku exploded. Wasted a lot of time. 3) Paint surfacer/primer. 4) Once dry, paint the first layer white for the tail and collar fur part. I use airbrush for most of the part. 5) Next, mask the white paint. I like to use electrical tape and clay. It works best for me. 6)Paint the rest of the body with sandy brown. 7)This is the hardest part for me. I hand painted details like eye, nose and feet with arcrylic paint. 8) Let it dry and you're done.
