If the weapon is too thin at your scale (<90mm tall model), you can:

Scale up by 120–140%

OR split weapon into a separate file and print horizontally

Cooling

100% fan after first few layers

Helps resolve armour edges and facial detail

Print Speed

Body: 45–55 mm/s

Weapon & thin parts: 30–40 mm/s

Slowdown feature ON for small details

Bed Adhesion

Brim: Recommended, 4–6mm (adds stability)

Platform: Smooth PEI or textured both work

ABS-like grey resin

Or impact-resistant resin for weapon durability

Supports

Because of the overhangs and weapon:

Print model at 25° backward tilt

Heavy supports on feet, bottom of skirt armour

Medium supports on weapon shaft and blade

Light supports on face, armour edges, fingers

Hollowing

Optional:

2 mm wall thickness

Drain holes under the skirt or behind calves

Notes for Resin Weapon

The axe is fragile at small scale — consider:

Scaling the weapon to 110–130%

Printing weapon separate from body

🎨 PAINTING SUGGESTIONS

Basecoat

Black or gunmetal primer for strong shadows

Dry-brushing Layers

Armour: Silver → Bright Silver edges

Skin: Warm tone → flesh highlight

Skirt: Leather brown → tan high points

Weapon: Dark iron → silver edge highlights

Final Seal

Matte varnish

Optional gloss varnish on weapon blades
