Creality Cloud Frequently asked questions

1. My Creality Wi-Fi Box cannot connect to the internet, or it takes too long.

The Creality Box currently only supports 2.4 GHz frequency band Wi-Fi.
Please make sure you scan the QR code on the Creality box.
Please try to restart your Creality Box.
Make sure the box is connected to the internet.

2. Can I remote control multiple printers on Creality Cloud?

Yes. The Creality Cloud can connect to multiple Creality Boxes, and each box is bound to one printer.

3. My Creality Cloud app cannot connect to the Creality Wi-Fi Box.

Please update your Creality Cloud App to the latest version. If the issue is still unresolved, please contact our email dev@creality.com. We will get in touch with you shortly.

4. Why does my app keep giving me a Parameter Error notice when I connect to the printer?

This possibly is because you scanned the wrong code. Please try the code on the Creality Box instead of the one on the printer.

5. Why does Creality Cloud require the permissions of photos, storage, and my location?

If you hope to upload model files and any photos, the Creality Cloud app will need access to the storage files. As for the location, you can choose to share it with other users when you are posting anything.

6. Can I earn money by sharing my works on Creality Cloud?

This is in our plan. We respect all users from our community and value every great idea created by designers. You will not only be a 3D printing hobbyist but also be a community content creator and even benefit from your interest.

7. How to unbrick My Creality Wi-Fi Box?

Below are steps to fix a bricked box:

(1) Please download the Creality Box firmware from http://file2-cdn.creality.com/model/cfg/box/latest/cxsw_update.tar.bz2.

(2) Unzip the file and paste the file 'root_uImage' to a USB flash drive or a fat32 format SD card.

(3) Insert the USB drive to one of the USB ports on the wifi box, using a pin to press the reset button when the box power off, keep pressing as you turn on the box, don't let go until you see the green light on.

(4) Wait and pay attention to the light status, when all lights go off and yellow lights on again, it indicates that the box has been fixed successfully.

8. The Creality Cloud app is taking up too much storage space on my phone.

The Creality Cloud app stores caches of data for users' convenience, so you can access your files faster and have a better using experience. You can clean the caches of data by selecting Me > "Setting" icon on top right > Clean the Cache

9. Why there is a storage space limit on my Creality Cloud?

Currently we offer 2 GB free storage space for every Creality Cloud user. We are going to offer a storage update service in the short future.

10. How can I find a model that I need?

Creality Cloud is a user-generated community where you can follow topics across different fields, download models shared by creators, or even the works by professional designers. Please select the topics you are interested in, and search for the models you love. Alternatively, you can post to ask for help from other group members.

11. I find some models (or posts, groups) are faulty or kind of inappropriate.

Please inform the moderators if you find issues while browsing the posts. You can directly click the "report" button if you found some posts are considered offensive or not relevant to their topics, the group moderators will receive your notice and remove inappropriate content.

12. How can the Creality users claim the free premium membership?

Creality Premium Membership is an exclusive subscription plan that offers numerous benefits to Creality Cloud users. Now, any customer who has purchased a Creality 3D printer can get Creality Cloud Premium for free! Click here to claim your membership before December 31, 2023.
