Hey, thought I'd make this cute little evee for the Summer print & paint contest. I had a lot of fun creating it with the help of my sister. Below are some photos from my makeshift 'studio' with some extra crafty flare. I started by slicing the model in Bambu studio and adding supports (a little too many but the print came out just fine!) The print was scaled to 50% to make it more manageable and took ~1h 40min. Next, it was time to add some filler to reduce the bumpiness before the paint was added. The aim was for a painterly style that would give it unique character. Firstly, a darker base coat was added to give a sense of depth, then layers were painted on top until a sort of 'fur' was achieved. For the eyes, a small amount of satin cote helped to improve reflectivity. Hope this provides some inspiration to make your own exciting models!
