The Creality Cloud app will guide you step-by-step during the initial configuration, however, you may not be able to connect the Wi-Fi box to the Internet through all the steps due to some interference. This FAQ will tell you what to do if you have trouble getting through a certain step.

Case 1: Wi-Fi box cannot connect to the Internet.

1) Please be sure the home Internet is working properly.

2) Check the firmware version of the APP, the Wi-Fi box and the printer, make sure they’re all up to date; if not, please update your devices’ firmware to the latest version.

3) Reset and reconfigure the Wi-Fi box.

4) If step 3 not working, format the TF card of the Wi-Fi box, and reconfigure the Wi-Fi box.

5) Try with Ethernet connection.

6) If you have tried all suggestions listed as above but still cannot get the internet, please send us the Creality Log of TF Card at teamcloud@creality.com for check and analysis.

PS:

1) Keep the Wi-Fi box away from microwave ovens and other interference sources (refrigerators, ovens, Bluetooth devices, etc.)

2) Reduce the number of wireless clients and optimize wireless network.

Case 2: Cannot find the Wi-Fi name of the Wi-Fi box.

In this case, if the yellow light solid on rather than blinking, the Wi-Fi box may be bricked, below are the steps to unbrick the box:

1) Please download the Creality Box firmware on your PC from Creality website http://file2-cdn.creality.com/model/cfg/box/latest/cxsw_update.tar.bz2

2) Unzip the file and copy & paste the file 'root_uImage' to a USB flash drive or a FAT32 format SD card.

3) Insert the USB drive to one of the USB ports on the Wi-Fi box, using a pin to press the reset button when the box power off, keep pressing the RESET button as you turn on the box, don't let go until you see the green light on.

4) The Wi-Fi box will reset and reboot automatically, when all lights off and yellow light on again, it indicates that the box has been fixed successfully.
