@user3638232266: My first impression of 3D printing came in 1989 in an article in "Machine Design" magazine. I believe the article mentioned both 3D Systems and Stratasys. I continued to follow developments in the field until I retired in 2009. I just got my Ender 5, Max, & will make accessories for Shopsmith 5-in-1 woodworking machines.

@Muppet365: Life-changing! Seriously it was life-changing. I have always been creative but this is the first time that I have been able to fully express myself in a way that others also appreciate and enjoy. Amazing technology that truly delivers what it promises in a way that everyone can be included and enjoy.

@C3DS: The start of a new technology Era for the universe. With all the advancements and diverse industries starting to adapt 3D printing and all the consumers adding to ideas and production of various products. 3D Printing/Manufacturing is here to stay and flourish.

@LemonLizard: Saw those TikTok streams of people complaining about failed prints and streaming failed prints. the. saw the ironman side. that's how I got my first. I slowly learned how they worked after going into it blind. now I spend my days painting prop weapons and stuff.

@Tic: My first impression was frustration and an overwhelming sense that I was in over my head. There are so many details that are required to get a print perfect. As I learned to calibrate my printer and understand how the different slicing parameters affect my print, I began to love 3D printing. I like the versatility, as I have made everything from toys to replacement parts for other devices.
