Hello 3D printing hobbyists,

Last month, we introduced the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license, commonly used to protect an author's work from copyright infringement. Since then, as you may have already noticed, choosing a CC license when uploading 3D models became mandatory. We hoped this could help overcome legal obstacles to the sharing of creativity. Things are indeed going well as we intended.

However, there's a "lazy lawn" where some 3D models uploaded before the CC license took effect on Creality Cloud are still not properly licensed. These models are also the painstaking effort of some creators, so they should not be treated differently. Therefore, we urge you to change the CC license of any models you have uploaded before June 17, 2021, and take down any models that you do not have the right to share. One small step for you, one giant leap for the community.

We are determined to protect the rights of creators. Next month, we will gradually remove any public shared 3D model files without a CC license. Thank you for your understanding and effort. Let's do good for the 3D printing community together.
