@SickFishermen: I think it’s getting more popular every day. My Grandkids have all worked with 3D printers in school and when they come to visit, it’s right over to my printer. It seems that they learn fast, and I’m helping a few of the older ones purchase their first printer. It’s a great way we can connect with one another.

@Michael Hasenauer: In the USA, Yes. It is very popular here. There are 6 different printing labs at the college I work for. This is what got me hooked on printing. I now have an Ender-3 v2 and am printing every day. I'm already looking forward to purchasing another machine so I can move faster.

@Marios Rouvas: Here in Greece, despite the fact that we have modern technology, 3d printing is considered high-tech or even fictional. The ones who know the existence of 3d-printing think it's too expensive or only for industrial use. When I say to others I have a 3d-printer they often are amazed and shocked and they ask me to print something for them.

@Cody Petro: Definitely popular in the US. but in Alabama, especially where I live, 3D printing is not very popular at all. I know only 2 other people that print. one is a friend of a friend. the other is a random cashier at harbor freight ..who had mentioned it in small talk... In Washington county, I'm probably the only one who prints.

@Triple_M: I'm based in Uk and 3d printing is very popular in these parts. What is more important there are not many sustainable filament manufacturers out there and I have to say that I'm lucky to have one nearby. They recycle waste and reuse cardboard pools (they don't do plastic ones). For me personally, this is something really important.

@user7653173943: Hello, I am from Malaysia. 3D printing is not considered new here since the community is quite big. But due to less exposure to 3d printing, not many want to try it. Some did buy it and then give it due to having issues with the printer itself. In the manufacturing industry also not many.

@Lord Bob: I currently live in Cambodia and it's not popular at all here, in fact, the only place where I can get filament is from the shop where I bought the printer, only PLA and very limited to what colors I can get. online shopping is not an option as there are no postal deliveries to residential addresses and online suppliers don't like sending to PO boxes.

@Flavio D: I live in Brazil 3d printers are not cheap, but they are getting popular, I see on social media many people posting their work or advertising their business with 3d printing.

@Passkes: 3D printing is becoming more and more famous here in the Netherlands. You see more and more people offering their cool prints on marketplaces and more 3D designs from design stores like Creality Cloud. People first thought it was really difficult to start with a 3D printer, but are realizing more and more that it's actually really easy to start and you can make it as difficult as you want.

@Sharptrack: 3D printing is very popular in Australia, particularly in the Universities and small business communities. Fast prototyping and experimentation are the main attraction. The variety of materials now available is giving new businesses a leg up on traditional manufacturing and young entrepreneurs are taking advantage. The education sector really benefits as students can test out new ideas and learn.

@NachoRacer: During the pandemic situation many shops start to build their own 3d printer Chanel, such as la mano Tecno, lgs 3d, and día de la toalla. this makes the enthusiasm for the 3d printing of rockets to the sky in Argentina. the 3d community is growing fast, you can see 3d printings in many small shops. the 3d shops that sell machines and accessories are getting more popular each day.
