Hi everyone, here are some answers to frequently asked questions that will help you better participate in the Shoe Design contest.

Do I need to upload a PDF file?

It's better to upload a PDF to describe the print settings, explain your design concepts, and design process diagrams.

If the design passed the printability test in the suggested software, do we still have to post the physical print picture? or rendered images enough?

If you pass the test, you don't need to print it. Just adding rendered images is enough.

Do I need to upload a photo of my design?

Yes. We recommend that you upload a nice cover image. It helps to deepen people's impressions.

Does the model I submit have to meet all the requirements?

Yes. If your model does not meet the requirements, we will also allow it to be displayed on the contest page, but it will not participate in the final selection.

Can I use a Resin printer?

No. FDM only.

Can we sell this and make more money?

Yes, you can. But if you get any of the first three prizes, your shoe design must be sold exclusively on Creality Cloud.

If we have a physical print of the design, do we still need to validate it with the software?

If you have a physical print, you don't need to validate it with the software.

Do I have to print it at the actual size or can I print it smaller to prove that it can be printed?

Just print it in any size as long as it’s not too small(bigger than EU 32). We will validate it again.

How many winners will there be in the end?

Up to 10 winners. It depends on the number of eligible entries. It could be 5, it could be 6, but up to 10.

Can it be US sizes?

Yes, but it needs to be adjusted regarding the European dimensions, as shown below.
