Tip #1 Be sure your Camera Privacy Filter is not sticking out, obstructing the printer head's path of travel as this will cause filament cutter to fail.

Tip #2: Order spare cutters, they last quite a while but when they fail, its not fun. Its recommended to inspect extruders and cutter after 5 spools.

Problem Fix: CM2789 Abnormal resistance in the X-Axis movement direction, motor released. Fix and restart. What happened and what to fix?
The printer attempted CFS filament change fails to complete, with tension on the Filament. How to prevent: Check to see all x-axis paths are clear, including ensure Camera Privacy cover at 6 or 12 o'clock position only. When cutter fails, the melted end of the filament clogs the PTFE tubing and buffer placing the tubes under tension so you cannot release the tubing clips. Therefore to clear filament from the PTFE tubing and buffer, rather than pulling forcefully on tubing, use a PTFR tubing cutter though the loaded tube under strain about 1cm below (or above) buffer, depending on which tube has more length available and is loaded. The cut will release tension allowing you to remove the 1"cm of tube remaining by releasing the tubing clip (press ring in). Pull out the remaining filament in a direction that avoids going through the buffer if possible. If that is not the problem check cutter lever is moving and can be activated by full right x-axis travel to end pin (operating cutter lever).
