I. Preface

To address the issue of lengthy upload times for a large number of models on Creality Cloud, we are excited to announce the official launch of the batch model upload tool. This tool allows users to effortlessly upload organized models to Creality Cloud, significantly saving time and effort. Download link>>

II. Preparatory work for batch model upload

1. Organize the models to be uploaded

1.1 Place all the models files to be uploaded in the same folder (root directory folder), as shown below:

1.2 Put each complete model group file in the same folder (sub-directory folder), including complete rendering or real shot pictures of the model group.

2. Things to note when organizing the folder for batch upload

2.1 The folder for batch upload can only be two levels, namely the root directory folder and sub-directory folder.

2.2 The root directory folder is not allowed to place model files, model rendering pictures or model real shot pictures (makes).

2.3 No subfolders are allowed to be created within the model folder uploaded in all sub-directories.

3. Supported formats for uploaded models and pictures

3.1 Model file formats: stl, obj, ply, off, 3mf, 3ds, wrl, dae

3.2 Picture file formats: gif, jpg, png, jpeg and other common picture formats

III. Batch Model Upload Tool User Guide

1. Open the Batch Model Upload tool

1.1 Double click the "create_model.exe" file to open the Bulk Model Upload tool, as shown below (for Windows system).

1.2 Operation notes for Apple macOS users:

① When opening the Batch Model Upload tool for the first time on a Mac, right-click the "create_model" file and select "Open" in the pop-up window and click "OK".

② Then find the "create_model" file again, right click "Open" and select "Open" in the pop-up window to open it normally.

2. Log in to the Batch Upload Model tool using Creality Cloud account

2.1 Log in using email address and password.

2.2 Log in using QR code scanning via Creality Cloud App.

2.3 After successful login, enter the Batch Model Upload interface.

3. Batch upload model files

3.1 In the Batch Model Upload interface, click to select the organized model folder (root folder), and it will automatically import the model group files and pictures to be uploaded.

3.2 Fill in the necessary information:

① Model source: Select the source accurately.

② Copyright declaration: Select the copyright declaration accurately.

③ Original proof: If your model is an original model or derivative work, you need to agree to the original statement. Non-original models do not need to fill in this item.

④ Model pricing method: Only original or derivative works models can be priced, shared (non-original) models can not be priced. In this functional page, all original models uploaded can only be uniformly priced with one price, but the price of each model can be set after successful upload in Creality Cloud Uploads

⑤ How to Print: Select according to the printing method suitable for the models in this batch.

⑥ Category: Select the category that this batch of uploaded models belongs to.

⑦ Privacy setting: Public models will not take up your cloud storage space, but private models will occupy your cloud storage space.

3.3 After filling in the above information, check "Read and Agree to the Model Statement", click "One-click Upload", and it will automatically upload this batch of models to Creality Cloud. A prompt will be given for each successfully uploaded model group, and a "√" will be displayed after uploading is complete for all models.

4. View uploaded model files

4.1 After successful model upload, the uploaded models can be viewed in the personal center, with the model status being "Under Review". Currently, others can not see the models you uploaded, and the models will be available for others to download and use only after they pass the review.

1.1 In Personal Center - Models - Uploads select the model to be edited and click "..." - "Edit" to edit the model information.
