Hello i just wanted to show my last print i have finally finished. this is a pretty cool firehydrant secret stash. it was easy to print but it took a while to prep for paint.. it really does pay off to take your time and very carefully sand every surface by hand until you remove all printer lines/fish scales. this is much easier if you take the extra time to print with a lair height of 0.12 i promise this will save so much time post print !!! unfortunately my airbrush kit has not yet arrived so i had to paint this project by hand 😫😬😵‍💫 lol it ended up taking 6 coats of paint but i would lightly sand any imperfections after each lair of paint was dry. i was very careful not to apply the paint too thick!!! i applied 6 very thin smooth coats and one lair of clear coat to seal and protect the finish product.
