As an all-in-one 3D printing platform, Creality Cloud is equipped with multiple indispensable functional sections, of which the most important one is to upload and download 3D Model Files. Being such a place to share digital designs for physical objects, Creality Cloud provides a variety of ways for users to upload models. In this article, we will explain these ways to upload objects to Creality Cloud.

1. Upload Models in Creality Print

As we introduced in the previous article, Creality Print, a self-developed FDM slicing software, providing access to connect with your Creality Cloud account, allows you to upload models to Creality Cloud.

Here’s how to do it:

Running on Creality Print > Log in to your Creality Cloud account > Click “File” to select files to upload > Click “Upload Model” on the right side list of the user interface. (Only stl files are supported)

Enter your model name, describe your model design idea or anything related to the model itself. Then choose a category and rendering color for the model. After everything is all set, you’re good to go. Click the “Upload” button, the model will be transmitted to your Creality Cloud account. You can find it in My Space > Models >Uploads in the Creality Cloud app.

2. Upload Models in Creality Cloud app

Open Creality Cloud app > Click “Upload 3D Models” to enter model adding page > Choose model files to upload by clicking “Add Models” and fill in all the information required on the page > Click “Submit” button to finish uploading.

Supported file formats: stl, obj, ply, off, 3mf, 3ds, wrl, dae.

3. Upload Models on Creality Cloud Website

Visit Creality Cloud Website on your desktop browser > Log in to your Creality Cloud account > Click “Models” shown on the top column > Click “Upload 3D Models” beside the categories to enter model adding page > Choose model files to upload by clicking “Add Models” and fill in all the information required on the page > Click “Submit” button to finish uploading.

Supported file formats: stl, obj, ply, off, 3mf, 3ds, wrl, dae.

In addition, you can simply find another access to Upload 3D Models on your own Personal Center page.

4. Upload Models in Cura (Creality Cloud Plugin)

Install and launch Ultimaker Cura 4.9 or above. > Log in to your Creality Cloud account (Make sure you have installed the Creality Cloud Plugin) >Click “File” to select files to upload > Click “Extensions” > “Creality Integration” > “Upload Model” (Only stl files are supported)

Then a prompt box pops up which requires you to enter the model name, write down the model description and select all the items needed. After filling in everything, click “Upload” to submit your model. You can find it in My Space > Models >Uploads in the Creality Cloud app.
