Have you ever wished to have a piece of the night sky in your room?

This tutorial demonstrates how to use Creality Cloud's built-in Planet Lamp Maker to make a beautiful moon lamp light up from the inside using LED lights. It is ideal as a tiny light or decoration for anyone who does not want to wait until it is dark to see the moon.

Make a Moon Lamp Model

1. Open the Creality Cloud app on your phone, tap 3D Models > Tools > Planet Lamp Maker > GO.

2. Here in the Planet Lamp Maker, you have three types of settings to customize: Planet type, Stickers and Texts.

- Types: You can choose from 8 solar system planets and the moon as your lamp base. There are three pre-set diameters, and you can custom the value if you want.

- Stickers: You can choose from several pre-set stickers or upload your pictures to make them appear on your moon lamp.

- Texts: You can write on your moon lamp with a few fonts and adjust the position of your texts.

3. Tap Next when you are satisfied with your design. You will then be redirected to the New Model Group page. Fill in relevant information the way you like, and tap Submit. Your moon lamp design will be exported as an STL file.

4. You can view your moon lamp model in 3D.

Slice Your Moon Lamp Model

Slice your moon lamp model just like any other 3D model. Slicing should be as straightforward as it is with any other 3D model. You can use Creality Cloud's built-in slicer or your favourite slicers. In this tutorial, we sliced the model using the built-in slicer.

Let the printer do the job

Check out the print result. It may appear to be a spherical plastic with a few scratches…

…but place it in front of a light source, such as LEDs, and you will WOW.
