Description
I saw various styles of guitar string winders out there, but I felt that most appeared to have little structural integrity because most were 100% 3d printed parts, and/or the action seemed as though it wouldnt be very smooth. I saw some that used a screw like I did, but the screws stuck out, which would scratch the tuners. I made this to fit a 40mm M3 screw perfectly, so that the socket cap is recessed, and the m3 nyloc nut is recessed as well.
Hardware:
-M3*40mm Socket Cap Screw
-624Z Bearing
-M3 Washers (one at the socket cap, and one between the bearing and handle)
-M3 Nyloc Nut
There is built in support (a .25 mm layer) for the nut trap and bearing trap overhangs. Simply use a hobby knife to cut out the hole. The bearing is meant to fit tight. Also note that if you print a fatter first layer, you might have to trim that layer a little in the nut trap and bearing trap.
I made this custom for my acoustic so it might not fit other guitars. I recommend printing the body first to see if it fits on your guitar's tuner. Feel free to request remixes/tweaks to fit your guitar.
