I tried to find a mount or case for the Ender-3 S1 to store the Raspberry Pi in, but didn’t find anything that was semi-hidden. I came up with this simple design to stow the Raspberry Pi under the stock display and re-use the mounting holes and screws as well as use only the provided tools the Ender-3 S1 came with to makes things as simple as possible.
Display pops on just like the original and the raspberry Pi goes under and it also is a pretty snug fit.
To print this you will need to rotate this model on the mounting side facing down and then generate supports with the following settings in Cura.
Support Structure: Normal
Support Placement: Everywhere
Support Overhang Angle: 80.0
Support Pattern: Zig Zag
Support X/Y Distance: 1.0 mm
After the part is printed, you will need breakup the supports but everything should be in tact. Just need to take some time to work out the supports under the display and it will slide out if you snip a bit where the mounting holes are first. Have fun and enjoy!
