Disable Selling Feature of Non-original 3D Model

Dear 3D printing hobbyists:

The 3D model library has been concerned and favored by many of you since it was built, getting stronger in its features, and more uploads of high-quality 3D printable models. To protect the copyright of the creators and make Creality Cloud a better place, we have constantly been fighting against copyright issues since the platform went live. We have formulated and released successively some rules and certain restrictions, such as Creative Commons (CC) License, Standard License, and 3D Model Sales Agreement, etc, to get more original designs protected.

However, some popular models are often uploaded by many different people causing an infringement of copyright. We keep removing a large number of models that have been claimed stolen and blocking authorized accounts. But we know that this is far from enough. To make an unprecedented improvement and obtain a greater breakthrough, we decided to disable features of selling Non-original 3D models on Creality Cloud after the Creality Cloud app V4.4.0 was released, which means you are not able to set a price for any unauthorized 3D models and sell on Creality Cloud app, website, as well as a mobile website because the copyright belongs to the original creators. You can only sell remixed 3D model designs under the permission of the original creator or sell 3D model designs created by yourself.

If the non-original 3D models you uploaded are now still on sale and with no authorization, please deleted these models. If the non-original models you uploaded are created by yourself or are under authorized sales, please change the Model Source from "Non-original" to “Original” or “Remix Model”, and relevant copyright certificate or authorization proof of the model on the uploading page.

Please change your Model Source from the date of this announcement and finish editing within one month.

On September 17, 2022, or later, we will turn all Non-original 3D models on sale into free Non-original 3D models without any further notification.

We respect everyone's creativity and protect the designer's original hard work. Please strictly abide by the CC licenses when sharing free 3D designs for limited kinds of uses while preserving copyright.
