Hey y'all

I've been working on finding the perfect profile for my printer in OrcaSlicer. The process was a kindy frustrating cuz sometimes I thought I was getting close to the settings, but I wasn't.

Belt, lub, Z-Off set, speed, retraction, etc...I thought how stupid I have to be if I don't be able to print in automatic printer.

Then I spoke with a friend and I can see another way, a test who never tried before. Much people tell me that OrcaSlicer is the best slicer right now, and I want to use it, but there's some kind of bug I thing, that not allow me a good quality.

In the photos you can see 3 cubes. Everyone had exactly the same setting, every parameter in printer, filament and quality.

The 1st one was printed in OrcaSlicer and that was my better print. Look like every layer on the wall is overhang. No seems like the layer had the right adhesion. Also I can see elephant foot, curling and super rounded corners.

The 2nd one was printer in Creality Printer with the default setting. The quality is exquisite, right width layer, super smooth. Maybe just a little elephant foot but no matter at the moment.

The 3rd one was printer in Creality Printer just setting the fuzzy perimeter. I don't like how it looks like but the quality is also perfect.

BTW I did a lot of test in OrcaSlicer... reading my test and setting the parameter according to the result. But the final setting was so bad that I try to download the orca profile available in the Creality wiki but it isn't work. So just copy the parameters from Creality Printer and then I can see and this that is the best print.

I just wanted to share my experience to help someone else.

Every other parameter isn't modificated.

Software: OrcaSlicer 2.2.0 vs Creality Print V5.1.2.9904 running in macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 (M3)

Print time: About 3~4 minutes
