Ender 3 V3 SE Dual Side Cooling | Optimized Part Cooling

The objective of this design is to get better cooling out of the default cooling fan of Ender 3 V3 SE without additional fans or modifications to the electric circuit. This dual side cooling provides cooling from 2 opposite direction which allows better overhang and angled printing. The following file is used to thest the overhang: bridge_test_0.5-10_109216

⚠️ Read the installation instructions carefully. This is still under development. If you would like to try it, use it at your own risk.

Installation instructions:

⚠️ Before printing, orient the parts as shown in the slicer image above.

⚠️ Do not use PLA for the duct. Else it will deform/melt due to convection heat transfer from the nozzle body.
⚠️ Turn off the power and then carefully assemble the body

Full assembly:

⚠️Attach the nozzle to the fan and align it with the extruder cover edge properly.

⚠ Screw the fan to the extruder cover. Make sure the duct is aligned with the cover edge.

⚠️Tighten the screw to the printer.

⚠️Before tightening the cover to the printer head, make sure the duct is horizontally aligned with the bed and there should be at least 3-4mm gap.
