So I was able to get a second hand CR10S5, it was the first version which had no upgrades. I’m quite happy with the machine, however the S5 definitely needs upgrading, so I’ve bought a new heat bed, a metal sheet to replace the glass and as the height a JustEat are not the best I’ve ordered some new springs, washers and threaded bolts for the job. I’m excited to get this up and running and to be able to start printing. I have a few practical items to print including tools etc. I also have some sets of Armour I want to print (Ironman Suit etc). I’ve already printed some items without setup like box stands for the S5 (which warped slightly due to the small heat bed (new one needs fitting) and also some bed levelling nuts to help level it easier. And they do make it easier. I got both from thingiverse which is a great place to get tools, bits and bobs including test pieces.
