So, the new app update...it initially made my printer useless until the 21st of April, over a week after it was forced upon us all. They've now "fixed" the problem with my printer not being recognized as their product. The new app registered the Sermoon V1 Pro as a regular Sermoon V1 but the workbench saw my g code files as the Sermoon V1 Pro. So the app refused to recognize the files. Well in fixing it they disconnected the camera option on my printer. Soooooo, phenomenal. Additionally they've added "speed" to the printing process. Fancy. The printer goes at twice the speed...but two failed prints later and I have to manually set the printer speed to 50% for it to actually work. Meanwhile my gold philament is almost completely gone soooooo one more failed print and I get to order a new role and wait for delivery. I'm so glad the printing speed is faster and useless so I can waste time and money on prints that were perfect before but now are suddenly useless.

What good is an increased print time if the print continues to fail? And for whatever reason the printer extrudes too much material at the beginning of each new layer, which again, messes up the print.

I'm sure there's a product I can buy to "fix" this issue, I'm sure some one got a bonus for reaching a deadline and increasing speeds and all the other corporate benchmarks.

Now that this is finally somewhat working I'll be selling it immediately and never using this company again.

Congratulations on rushing a useless app to market that obviously wasn't beta tested on even the most basic levels.

I hear good things about the Bambu printers.

I am endlessly frustrated by the misguided priorities of this company when it comes to basic functionality.

I don't care about "beans" or "points" or "extra products". I don't even care about your featured prints or maker contests.

All I flipping fudging care about is loading a print, printing a print, the print being successful. Saving those settings for the filament I'm using. Continually having the same results in the same print using those settings.

None of this "update" is actually helpful. So far all of it is detrimental.

What would be helpful if I could create a roledex of my filaments, possibly by color, put their temperature peramiters in, nozzle and plate. So when I print anything the app asks which material I'm using and sets the temps accordingly.

Then, when it prints, having a higher speed for an adhesion plate, lower speed for the first few base layer of my actual print to guarantee a successful base, and very slow , precise movements for fine details and writing, to make sure it's successful.

Have the base plate cool down after the first few layers as well if it helps adhesion.

Recommend temperatures for filament types based on the brand, type, company recommendations ect. Offer tips in real time.

I literally have only been printing for 6 months and in that time taught myself the basics of creating 3D designs and how to print things successfully.

None of that knowledge came from Creality. A company more concerned with it's gimicky store front and stupid extras than improving the user experience and mastering the basics of printing.

Reminds me of how oblivious Blockbuster was before the end.

I was having so much fun with this initially.

Creality activity destroyed the joy and faith I had in this company which will hopefully be a toxic ex sooner than later.

I actively was promoting this product to so many of my friends, now I'm actively telling friends, family and any random stranger that will listen to avoid them.

Rushing a useless app update to market that no one asked for was definitely worth it.
