Balisong - Butterfly Knife by [%1230119457] Another really enjoyable print and make as part of the November Print Event https://www.crealitycloud.com/contest/november-3d-printing-event. Its a bit fiddly but all the parts print fit together really well making allowances for tolerance issues with the many different printers out there and variations in filaments. There are no instructions to build it but it is very straightforward and easy to work out what goes where. This print was a great test for the K1 Max and the Creality Hyper Series PLA filament. I'm loving this stuff and will be ordering more, when I can afford it 😂. Just remember to print double the amount of nuts for each balisong. Once put together and the glue has dried you can use this to practice your butterfly knife skills or even use them as a form of fidget thingy. Printed on a K1 Max in Blue and Red Hyper Series Filament, sliced in Creality Print with the big parts set at 20% Infill and small parts set at 100% infill. 170mm/s for all parts and no brims or supports needed. Maybe use some 3dLAC or gluestick for the smaller parts if needed. I used a textured PEI sheet and they all stuck fine without glue. This was a fun print, thank you.
