I want to open a discussion about “Filament Drying” ! The roll of purple/blue pictured I dried for 12 hours on the second setting on my filament dryer (which is the recommended setting) for this Silk filament. I dried it with plans of doing an 8 hour print. Well half way through the print the project didn’t print right. I’m wondering, if the filament had moisture in it deeper down in the spool !!! Drying filament for 12 hours “should” dry it all the way through the spool, shouldn’t it ??? The relative humidity in the room where I print is 45%, Temp about 75 degrees. I always print with my K1 closed . The internal temp stays at 35c . PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS
