Hi everyone,

I’m Michael Tang, Co-founder of Creality.

Since we started Creality back in 2014, I’ve watched 3D printing grow from something reserved for labs and workshops into something that now lives in classrooms, maker spaces, and people’s homes. Over the years, I’ve visited schools, talked with educators, chatted with hobbyists, and met countless families who print together.

And I’ll tell you the moment that has stayed with me the most: when a child stares at the printer as a model slowly takes shape — eyes wide, glowing with curiosity and excitement. That pure, simple joy is something I never forgot.

But I’ve also seen the other side.
Kids (and adults) quickly lose motivation when things get too complicated — when the UI feels confusing, when modeling feels intimidating, when a failed print kills the momentum. As a father, and as someone who has spent years building printers, I’ve always wished we could make the whole journey much easier. Creativity and hands-on learning should be accessible, not frustrating—especially in a field that prides itself on innovation.

At some point, a simple thought came to me: If a child can use a 3D printer confidently, then everyone else can too. So we decided to break the complexity apart and rebuild the experience step by step. We focused on three things:

1. Make operation simple — really simple.

The flow should feel natural, intuitive, and effortless.

2. Make model repository reliable.

A model library not only rich in choice, but also printed and verified by the platform or makers — to give other users a high success rate.

3. Make the printing process friendly.

Clear guidance when something goes wrong, instead of leaving people lost.

With these ideas in mind, we created something new. Something built inside Creality Cloud, but growing beyond it.

And today, I’m excited to formally introduce FlowPrint.

“Flow” reflects the smooth, steady material flow at the core of FFF printing — and also gives a nod to the “F” in the FFF community.

“Print” is what turns every spark of imagination into something real.

Together, they capture what we aim to deliver: a smooth, accessible, and reliably successful FFF printing experience that anyone — yes, anyone — can enjoy.

Back in October, we began our first Beta Test with a small group of global makers, designers, educators, and beginners. Their feedback shaped FlowPrint in ways we didn’t expect.
A special thank-you to:

TheGulzar3D, who not only shared valuable suggestions but even sketched UI mockups.

Oliver, who ran repeated tests across browsers and devices to help us pinpoint issues.
And many more testers who sent screenshots, recordings, or long messages. We read every single one. Every insight matters, and each will continue shaping FlowPrint.

FlowPrint opens to everyone on November 27th, 2025. It’s still in Beta, and we’ll continue refining it over the next few months until the full release in April. Your ideas, questions, and dreams will play a real role in shaping what FlowPrint becomes.
