How to Upload G-code

Every 3D printing technology creates 3D objects by adding material layer-by-layer. Slicing is, therefore, an essential step in 3D printing. Creality Cloud is featured with the slice adding to convert an object model into instructions for a 3D printer by the use of slicing software or Creality Cloud itself. In this article, we will basically discuss how to upload G-code to your Creality Cloud account.

 

Upload G-code to Creality Cloud

1. Upload G-code in Creality Print

Install and run on Creality Print > Log in to your Creality Cloud account > Click “Import Model” to select files > Editing and setting slice parameter on the left side on the user interface > Click “Start Slice” to slice files.

After the model is sliced into pieces, click “Upload G-code” to transmit the file to your Creality Cloud account. When you get a prompt as “Upload Successfully”, check your uploaded G-code in Creality Cloud APP: Printing > My Slices > My Uploads.

2. Upload G-code in Cura (Creality Cloud Plugin)

Install and launch Ultimaker Cura 4.9 or above. ( Make sure you have installed the Creality Cloud Plug-in) > Click “Extensions” > “Creality Integration” > “Model Library” > Log in to your Creality Cloud account and choose a model to download > slice the model > Upload G-code to your Creality Cloud account and find it in My Gcode. In the Creality Cloud app, you can find your G-code files under Printing > My Slices > My Uploads.

1. Built-in slicer in Creality Cloud APP

Open Creality Cloud APP > Select a model file you want in 3D Models and enter the model detail page > Click the slicing icon to slice the file into layers > setting parameter profile > Click “Slice”. 

The file will be displayed in APP navigate to Printing > My Slices > Cloud Slicing.

2. Built-in slicer on Creality Cloud Website

Visit Creality Cloud Website on your desktop browser > Log in to your Creality Cloud account > Click “Models” shown on the top column > Select a model file you want in 3D Models and enter the model detail page >Click “Cloud Slice” to enter slicing page > setting parameter profile > Click “Slice”.
