The 3D creation copyright issue has existed for a long time since our platform went live. To handle this issue, we made some improvements to the upload feature and released a Standard License to protect your digital files sold on Creality Cloud. After a relentless battle, things go better. Now we are going further to protect your copyright and clean our place up. In order to do so, we ask that you upload a proof of creation for your 3D works on our platform.

Why need a proof of creation?

It is important to upload proof of originality for your 3D works because it helps to protect your rights as the creator of the work. Without this proof, it may be difficult to defend your rights in the event that someone else tries to claim your work as their own. And it can be a piece of persuasive evidence to protect your 3D designs when they get maliciously reported

What is a proof of creation?

A proof of creation is a document that shows that you are the creator of the 3D work in question and that it is your original creation. This could be a certificate from a recognized institution, a timestamped record of the work's creation, or any other evidence that clearly shows that you are the original creator of the work.

Here are some examples:

1. A proof of creation for your artwork can be a certificate from a recognized institution under your local laws.

2. A proof of creation for your artwork can be a screenshot that records the process of your 3D creation.

3. A proof of creation for your artwork can be a link /screenshot that leads to any recognized and authoritative 3D platform where you have already sold or shared your 3D creation.

Things to bear in mind

1. Please upload a high-resolution screenshot that clearly shows your 3D design graphics and parameters.

2. Please do not upload a slicing screenshot.

We ask that all users upload proof of originality for their 3D works when uploading a 3D model on Creality Cloud. Please note that failure to provide proof of originality may result in your model not being approved during the review process.
