Since the last time we have introduced Creality Cloud integration for Ultimaker Cura, many beloved hobbyists gave warm responses and sent their feedback to us that they would like to print directly from the computer. As an all-in-one 3D printing platform, we love to hear from you and accept every advice and judgment and make changes. Well, when it comes to desktop slicing applications, Ultimaker Cura may be the first that comes to your mind, but definitely, it’s not the only choice. As a matter of fact, we have been working on developing our own software for years and finally, we made it. So today, we are thrilled to introduce this desktop slicing application -- Creality Print.

What it is

Creality Print is a self-developed FDM slicing software produced by Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd. It’s a practical and easy-to-use tool that can help you remote control and monitor your 3D printer and help print directly from your computer. And the most stunning part is that it provides access to connect with your Creality Cloud account, which brings more convenience to your printing adventure. Here are some features Creality Print allows you to do by logging in to your Creality Cloud account:

1. Synchronizing your account information, including your G-code, models, devices, etc;

2. Search and download models from the model library;

3. Import and export G-code from Creality Cloud;

4. Upload G-code files to Creality Cloud;

5. Setting parameters and slice model files;

6. Remote printing and monitor your 3D printer in real-time;

If you buy a printer from creality.com, you will find Creality Print is provided in a USB storage device that ships with the printer. Or you can get the latest version from the following links.

After downloading the installation package from the websites, you can set up the integration as the instruction shows. When the setup is done, you can run the software and start slicing. It will prompt you to choose the language (Chinese/English/traditional) and server (China/ International). There will be user guidance and printer options for the first time running. After everything is all set, we can explore deeper to see how Creality Print makes 3D printing easy.

Extraordinary Features Details

1. Browse & Import 3D Models

In Creality Print, there are three different ways for you to import model files.

1) Import model files directly from your computer by clicking File> Open File in the left upper corner or clicking "Import Model" on the right side. (STL/OBJ model file formats are all supported.)

2) Import models from the Creality Cloud 3D model library. As a 3D printing ecosystem, Creality Cloud is closely connected to Creality Print, access you to search for your favorite models in the model library and directly import them into the software. This is a new breakthrough for Creality Cloud to provide a better experience to the users. The following video will guide you on how the process works.

3) Import picture files to generate model files. Choose a picture from your computer and set the parameters you want.（BMP., JPG., JPEG., and PNG. formats are all supported）

2. Parameter Editing and Setting

After importing the model, you can select one of the printing parameter configuration modes on the right side as the following picture shows, or create a new custom mode according to your preference. On the left side, you will find a column of editing tools to modify and decorate your model.

3. Slicing

Click "Start Slice" to slice files.

3. Upload G-code

After the model is sliced into several pieces, it will directly enter the preview page from where you can view the printing report and set printing parameters. Click "Export" and select "local" to save G-code on your computer from the print preview page. Or click "USB online printing" to send G-code to the printer through a USB serial port and control the printer through it.

Surprisingly, it provides a shortcut for the user to upload a G-code file to the Creality Cloud account. Click " Upload G-code" and log in to your Creality Cloud account and then upload files. When you get a prompt as "upload successfully", check your uploaded file in Creality Cloud APP: Printing>My Slices>My Uploads. You will find the G-code appears in your APP. It's amazing!

4. Live Control

Next, when you get the G-code, you can print the object directly through the APP or you can print on the PC side by logging in to the Creality Cloud account on Creality Print, real-time control the printer. All of your Creality Cloud account information will be synchronized to the software, including your devices, Gcode files, models, and favorites. It's all connected. 5. Remote Print & Webcam Support

In the process of printing by using Creality Print, you can adjust and set printing parameters remotely at any time to prevent your print from annoying failure.
