Massive 3D print after 38 Hours Fails with less than a few layers left to go... What do I do? I had invested 75 meters of filament and 38 hours of time... so I was excited to watch it finish, I sat back and watched the printer in person and had the phone app logged in... I've seen it once before where it was on a layer, about 80 or so layers left, the remaining timer ran out, but it reset the remaining timer. However... When I was on Layer #1948 / 1954 and the clock on the phone app was said it would be be done in 9 seconds, I knew that wasn't possible so when the timer hit zero... it blew up, threw the error code, and cooled off the nozzle. The fans continued to run long after the temperature had reached room temp. The state of K1 MAX right now is that I have a 99% finished lunar globe, the filament is still attached and everything is cold. I assume the answer is to snip the filament, move the head and remove the globe... I hope that I could hear better news like I can run the last few layers of the print... maybe it won't matter too much, but this really sucks!
