look at this happy articulated sandworm from Dune. I got the file on thingiverse: friendly articulated sandworm, a remix of something else that's friendly articulated. my printer was really stringy/whiskery with this one, but it did clean up well enough, and with a bit of time and mechanical assistance it now moves easily. very satisfying.
